Mark Lipinski's Winter's Grace Collection 2

So I got the Celebrate wallhanging finished.  Check out the pictures from start to finish.

First, I cut out and appliqued the blocks to the background using a buttonhole stitch. I used Mark Lipinski's Aurifil thread in varigated gold.

Next I cut and sewed the strips.

I cut the strips into sections and sewed them together to make the blocks.

I layed out the top and stiched the blocks together.  Next I added the inner border.

Mark Lipinski's Winter's Grace Collection

So I am headed down to the quilt studio to whip up some new quilt top samples using Mark Lipinski's Winter's Grace collection.  I am excited to see them all put together.  The fabric is just gorgeous!  If you haven't had a chance to see the collection yet, head over to http://www.thequiltbear.com/ or  http://www.northcott.net/.  We have purchased the beige color collection and two patterns to kit up.

Hopefully, later today, I will post some pictures of my progress.  Stay tuned to see how they turn out!
